The Target x Disney collection is out and Disney lovers everywhere are going crazy over this collection. From its affordability to its vintage vibes to celebrate Mickey’s 90th, there is so much to love. Besides if your like me and your a Target lover it is just even more excuses for a trip there. Of course not only is there the collection with Junk Food for all ages and accessories, but there is also a collection of home items with Pillowfort, outdoor and picnic items in the summer section, and even makeup by L’oreal!
While the collections official launched on the 13th several Targets started putting the collection out early. I was able to peak some of the collection and spend way too much money on Wednesday.
One thing I love about this collection is so many pieces for the adults and even kids don’t have Mickey plastered all over them. Don’t get me wrong I love the main Mouse but I love how all these collections have come out with Disney that are just perfect Disney Style without being cheesy! I think I explained that right.
I was excited about the coffee mugs in this collection. If you have followed me at all for a while you know I love coffee mugs, especially Disney ones. I love the ones with all the gold details, and I love using mugs for more than just coffee. At $5-$6 each these also make really cute gift items for a Disney lover.
I snagged two of the women’s items for myself, and honestly I still may grab a few other items. I fell in love with this vintage style Good Times tee. I love a good graphic tee, and I love this one. It’s soft and colorful with just a small touch of Mickey. There are literally so many ways you could style this top in a variety of seasons , which is another thing I love about it! I did size up from my typical large to XL for a little more length. Also I had to get this bandana. Its so perfect for your hair, to tie on a bag, around your neck. This shirt and bandana were two items from the collection I had seen I knew I wanted.
I also grabbed this striped dress in both women’s and children’s so my girl and I could match. Apparently this dress is supposed to be a cover up but to be honest it’s not see through and super soft and comfy and I guess I just didn’t see cover up so I may just keep wearing it as a dress.
You could never tell this is a Disney piece unless you really looked hard. On the kids piece the Mickey is on the hood. I also love the stitching that says Living the Dream.
On the women’s dress Mickey is on the larger pocket and the hood says Hello Sunshine. \
The kids collection for both girls and boys is adorable, but I really have to give Target and Junk Food a big high five for what they have for the boys. I have so many friends with boys who always say there is hardly anything cute for them and I have to say this was a job well done. My favorite boys piece is this little button up with Mickeys on it.
I also snagged some fun accessories, from the collection. A majority of which I’m holding onto to use giveaways on Instagram and also in my private Facebook group. Here are a few of my favorites I’ll be holding onto. This Red and white stripe Mickey Clutch was a piece I really wanted to add a little Disney Style into any day, or date night in the Parks.
I also love this little Mickey shaped cosmetic bag, I think it kind of makes a fun small clutch like I have it styled below but I plan on using it for my trading pins, in our bag. When we pin trade I don’t really like wearing a lanyard and usually have a baggie full of pins so I like that this picture looks. I am currently also giving one of these away on my instagram page.
Online there are also some super cute cosmetic bags I have yet to see anywhere else. I ordered this one and will be giving it away in my exclusive Facebook group this week, along with a few other goodies. The giveaway runs all week and you can join my group here. I love little pouches like this for traveling. It’s so perfect for jewelry, toiletries among other things and definitely not just makeup.
So of course I mentioned the collection also has Home items. One of the collaborations was done with Targets brand Pillowfort and was done so well! This was actually available online a few weeks ago. We snagged the Gold Polka dot Minnie sheets (a similar set we had ordered and ShopDisney messed up 3 times, then sold out of ) and the adorable bow pillow. I’m working on getting it all put together in my daughters big girl room and I’ll share when it’s complete. She happens to have a gold polka dot wall so these are so perfect. Also I’m not a fan of character sheets, though I definitely remember my favorite mermaid ones as a kid so these and the PB Kids Princess ones are so much better than used to be and I can make some exceptions.
There are also so adorable classic Mickey pieces for any gender, and a few pieces I think would be fun in my office even since it’s my little piece of Disney. ( that space is another work in progress I’ll share later)
Last but not least, yes there is more there is even a summer outdoor collection. There are plates, trays, picnic blankets , cups, bowls, chairs, and more. We needed a tray to carry out for the grill so I snagged this round one. The rectangle one would also be super cute for a Mickey themed Fourth of July party. There are even cups that match.
There are paper plates, napkins, disposable cups, all the things you might need for a summer cook out. I mean there are even Mickey shaped corn holders. They thought of it all.
If your heading to the parks soon I definitely recommend to try and grab the $1 light up ears, a fun water bottle to refill in the parks, and some of the cute pieces of clothing to rock your Disney Style.
There are so many things in this collection I could seriously go on, I keep seeing new things daily. What are some things you are hoping to snag from this new collection?
