Lots of new treats have made their way to Walt Disney World over the last little bit. Cupcakes seem to be the some of the top treats Walt Disney World is famous for lately.I’ve rounded up 8 new treats to try at Walt Disney World this summer. From refreshing drinks to help you cool off to sweet treats these are items you won’t want to miss!

Dole Whip Cupcake

This is one of my favorite Disney cupcakes I’ve ever tasted. The cake can be hit or miss, and the icing can be sweet but this one was perfect. The cake was simple vanilla cake but it did have a little of the icing piped into the center. There was also a little thing holding pineapple juice for you to squirt right into the cake.

The icing was like a Dole Whip swirl which I’m usually just a pineapple all the way kind of girl but this was good. It wasn’t too sweet so I actually wanted to keep eating it. You can find this at the All Star Resorts, but I really think it needs to make its way to the Polynesian.

Mickey Beignets

Everything is better Mickey shaped right? My last day I learned these were now available and I was at Port Orleans French Quarter ten minutes later. (This is probably why I was cutting it super close to missing my flight 🙈)These are fluffy and delicious and come in 3 or 6. There is also an ice cream sundae you can get with them!

Mermaid Cupcake

This cupcake was another win in my book! It was also the very last treat I had and I was literally eating it as I was leaving the park to head to the airport. Inside is funfetti cake my favorite and it’s topped with a vanilla icing and a sugar cookie Mermaid tail. I love they chose a cookie over fondant. The Mermaid Cupcake can be found at Main Street Bakery aka Starbucks.

Mint Julep Lemonade Slush

This is my favorite non alcoholic slush in all of Disney, EVER! One it may not be a Disneyland mint juleps but to me this one is better suited for Florida weather anyways. It’s got the perfect touch of mint and lemon flavor. It’s topped with mint and a cherry and comes with a Mickey Straw. This can be found at Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom and I hope they never take it away!

Iridescent Blondie

The new craze is all things iridescent at Disney Parks. I actually snagged this before the craze really hit. If you try any iridescent treats go try this! This is a Blondie and it even has confetti in it I mean yes please. It’s topped with white chocolate and these beautiful iridescent Minnie Ears. You can find this at the Beach Club Market Place.

Pixar Cookie Dough Pops

The resorts are killing it with Pixar treats, and well treats in general. I found that Iridescent Blondie when I was looking for these. I so wish these could be found in the parks but we took ours there. I wouldn’t recommend that because well they melt pretty fast. They come 3 in a package for $5.99 and are decorated like the Luxo Ball, Andy’s room, and Sheriff Woody. These can be found at both Yacht and Beach Club. We met some sweet cast members at Beach Club looking for these and when they found out Yacht Club still had them told them to Magical Moment them for us when we arrived. I mean how sweet.

Mystic Portal Punch

Ok so this is really just a fancy Powerade but to be honest I loved it! It’s perfect for hot park days to refresh you and replenish electrolytes. You can get it by itself or in a souvenir cup. It’s something both kids and adults will love and can be found at Woody’s Lunchbox in Toy Story Land.

See more info about Toy Story Land here.

Lunchbox Tarts

Another Woody’s Lunchbox treat is the Lunchbox tarts. The hazelnut with bacon one is so good as long as you get a fresh one. The Raspberry one is super tasty too so you can’t go wrong with either one. These are served all day and I even saw a few push carts had them as well.

Do you have a new favorite summer treat at the Walt Disney World Resort? If it’s not on this list let me know!
