A denim jacket is a wardrobe essential, perfect to throw on with a dress, colored jeans, over a jumpsuit or even leggings. It’s the perfect transitional piece in between seasons which is why it’s a basic wardrobe essential.

A denim jacket is always perfect with a skirt. When it’s cooler out it’s great thrown on over short sleeves, and really depending on how you pair it can be perfect for a dressed up or down look.

Colored Jeans

One of my favorite looks is a denim jacket with a pair of ripped colored jeans. Black or even pastels for spring it adds the perfect touch. A graphic tee makes it even more fun.

The transition from spring into summer can mean cool mornings but much warmer afternoons. A denim jacket still makes your look fashionable and easy to remove when the day gets much warmer.

Let me speak the truth the right pair of leggings are indeed PANTS. A denim jacket gives leggings a bit more jazz and makes them feel more put together so they are perfect to style together.

Of course if a denim jacket looks good with a skirt it’s going to be perfect for a dress. You get a little extra edge, perfect for layering casual or more dressed. There are endless options

Romper or Pant Suit

Just another thing that often comes in sleeveless so carrying your style into spring and fall a denim jacket is the perfect addition to these looks. Rompers and Pantsuits are my go to outfits when I just don’t have it in me to put a true look together.

I own two denim jackets but my Old Navy boyfriend jacket is my absolute favorite. My other is a classic Gap find. Another one on my wish list is either black or white. They are perfect to pair with regular jeans, colored jeans, and endless options combined.
