We have always been on property people for the ease of Magical Express, 60 Day Fast Passes, park transportation, Extra Magic Hours and more. Did you know so many Disney Springs hotels are now partners and you receive almost all of these perks. On a recent adults only trip we got the opportunity to try one of these Disney Springs area hotels, Hilton Buena Vista Palace. We are loyal Hilton travelers so we were excited to try out this resort and let me just say it did not disappoint!

*I did receive a media rate and gifted cabana as well as a few other things during this stay however all opinions are my own. This post may also contain affiliate links.

The Hilton Buena Vista Palace is not to be missed. Not only are the accommodations nice, but the grounds are beautiful. There is so much you can do it’s perfect for those off park days. To be honest we did enjoy the parks some in the 4 days we were there but we also took time to enjoy the resort itself.

Hilton Amenities

The resort has some amazing amenities! Our favorite was the pool area. They have a great pool area, with a nice size swimming pool, splash pad area, Float Lagoon and Shades Pool Bar with poolside food and beverage service.

The pool area also offers Cabana rentals. There are a variety of options to choose from when renting a Cabana. Hilton so graciously gifted us a Cabana for a pool day and if you plan on taking a day off from the parks during your stay this is the way to go. The Cabana came with a designated server, a fruit plate and some of  best fruit infused water that was perfect refresh for a hot day.

Each Cabana also comes with a TV, a fan, a refrigerator, 2 chairs, a Lounger and 2 chairs on the outside if you want to lounge in the sun.

There is also a great grassy area to the left of Shades Pool Bar with soccer goals, corn hole and large checkers Great for the kids to play or just run off their energy.

Hilton Dining

The dining options in the resort did not disappoint. We had lunch two days at Shades Pool Bar. We also enjoyed breakfast at Letterpress which I totally recommend.

The pool bar food was some of the better pool bar food I’ve had anywhere. We had a variety of things. Cobb Salad, Pizza , Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos, and Burgers. The Fish Tacos were awesome and so fresh I highly recommend them. Mahi is my favorite fish and I love it in fish tacos so maybe I’m partial but I don’t think so.

Also don’t miss out on the Dragonfruit Mojito at Shades. It’s so unique and refreshing!

Letterpress serves breakfast and brunch 7 days a week. They also serve dinner. For breakfast you can order off a regular menu, eat the full buffet, or their is an option for a continental buffet as well. I’m not a big buffet person and the menu really intrigued us so we went with ordering entrees. I will say the buffet looked really good, the restaurant was busy of families filling up their belly before a day in the park.

We chose to order the Chicken and Waffles which was some of the best fried chicken we have had in a long time. The Bourbon Butter Pancakes also caught my eye and were delicious. Neither dish disappointed and I 10/10 recommended both of them.

On Sundays they also have character dining with Minnie and friends. I love that they have this option to just wake up and have a character meal in your hotel. This breakfast is very affordable for a character meal at $30 per adult for buffet or $20 for continental. I love that they offer the continental option too. Also while there could be a wait no reservation is required!

You are also able to dine here even if your not staying at Hilton, if you need to park they will validate the parking for you. I definitely recommend trying it out.

Citrus 28 is located right next to Letterpress. It is a one stop shop for all your needs 24 hours a day. They have snacks, toiletries, sundries, beer and wine, ice cream, a little candy shop, pizza and sandwiches made to order among other things.

Hilton Disney Perks

You get almost all the same perks at this resort as you do at a Disney owned hotel. You get 60 Day Fastpasses, Extra Magic Hours including Extra Extra Magic Hours this fall, and park transportation! The buses run every 30 min 90 min before park opening and after park closing. The buses also accommodate Extra Magic Hours. You can also book it as a package right from the Walt Disney World website.

This resort is also only a 7 min walk to Disney Springs. For our adult trip this was so nice as we spent a lot of time there. Honestly it’s so great for families also who want to venture out for more dining options than the parks have to offer. There is also bus service from 6pm to 2 am if you have extra tired feet.

Hilton Rooms

The rooms here are spacious, most have balconies and are some of the best sized on Disney property. I’ve stayed at deluxe resorts that don’t have balconies. Sometimes when your in hotel room they are just nice to have if you need a minute of peace and quiet.

The room we stayed in was a 1 King Disney Springs view room. It had a dresser, desk and even love seat and we still had room to move about the room without running over one another. For the price, size and location I would easily stay here every time over All Star Resorts.

The location of this resort can’t be beat. Just a a 7 min walk to Disney Springs via the Pedestrian Sky Bridge everything that Disney Springs has to offer is right at your fingers tips. Whether your using the bus, your own car or a Ride Share service it is also easily accessible to the parks. Minnie Vans also pick up and drop off here if you need a ride with a carseat.

The resort does have a daily parking fee of $22 to self park  (all Disney resorts do now) and a resort fee. The Resort fee is $35 daily and includes the park shuttle service, internet access, float lagoon access, DVDnow rentals, daily suncare product and a few discounts. These resort fees are pretty standard at a lot of Florida area resorts.

We loved our experience at Hilton Buena Vista Palace. We are loyal to Hilton hotels when we travel and this one may have just won us over for future Disney trips, or even fun staycations. Sometimes it’s nice to have a place to get away from all the hustle and bustle the parks can bring and the Hilton Buena Vista Palace provides just that!
